Hannah Morris is a senior public relations major at Waynesburg University. Originally from Jefferson, Pa., Morris grew up in the Waynesburg area. On campus, Morris works in the office of Institutional Advancement, is a member of the symphonic band and holds the secretary position for Waynesburg University Public Relations Student Society of America Chapter. Morris is a co-director of the committee that is organizing Regional Conference, which will be held at Waynesburg on April 8 through 9, 2016. Morris also claims that several of her family members have attended Waynesburg University in the past, however they came for nursing.
“I decided nursing wasn’t for me, so I went in a different direction,” said Morris.
At first, Morris was going to complete college online, but her parents encouraged her to attend Waynesburg University. They wanted her to get the entire college experience, making friends, getting involved and just living. Morris entered her freshman year with several credits, so she will be graduating in the spring, completing her major in three years. Post graduation, Hannah wold like to work in higher education and development.
“I really like the events we help with on campus,” said Morris of her favorite activities that Waynesburg’s Chapter has partaken in on campus. “Homecoming, Charter Day, the Inauguration, those things that we help get together.”
Morris describes her time at Waynesburg with a Bible verse, Colossians 1:10, which reads: “…So that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please Him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God…”
Congratulations Hannah on receiving the most amount of points in the senior class through Waynesburg University’s PRSSA Chapter!
