Recap: The sports industry is competitive, and the secret to success does not exist. While being the Director of Communications for a highly profiled and successful sports team is often challenging, the final product is always worth it. Jennifer Bullano shares her experiences of working for recent Stanley Cup champions, the Pittsburgh Penguins, and the challenges she faces as a female in the sports industry. Bullano gave advice to young practitioners about how to manage work, success, and stand firm as a woman in a male dominated industry.

Nicole Tobias is a freshman public relations major at Waynesburg University.
